Since buying The Roanoke in 2017, we have been blown away by all the love and support shown to our family and our small business. From starting out as newbie innkeepers, to surviving covid challenges and welcoming a new baby, you have seen us through a lot in the last few years! You will never know just how much it means to us each time we get a reservation and what pride we take in sharing our home with you! From long time visitors who come and hug us and our kids, to new guests we get to share the magic of Manteo and the inn with for the very first time, we appreciate all of you. It’s been a while since we’ve shown our faces around here, so now seems like a good time to reintroduce ourselves! We are the Borlands - Lauren and Jason, and our three minis JB, Caroline and little James. In 2017 we bought the inn and moved to Manteo to fulfill our dream of owning our own business and living on the North Carolina coast. The last couple of years have been a whirlwind and we are so thankful to our incredible staff who supported us and kept the inn running as we spent more time focusing on our family. We are thrilled to be getting back in the swing of things and can’t wait to welcome to you to our little slice of island paradise!
